Episode Highlights:

3:10 - Traits of the Greats. “16 years in the chiropractic space. I know there's a lot of people out there that have been doing a lot of hard work and establishing the message of chiropractic, but as soon as I got the big idea for sharing the message of chiropractic, I was all in. My hometown is Davenport, Iowa and that's the birthplace of the profession. I was drinking from the fountain head before I knew it was the fountain head. I worked in a clinic for about six years, so I came into it from the idea that everybody should have an ideal spine. I studied a lot of the greats and now I have the traits of the greats. I fell in love with this idea that the body doesn't need anything extra in it. It simply needs no interference. If we clear the interference, the body self regulates and self-heals. The philosophy of the profession has given me a big purpose and, if everybody knew what the big idea really was about chiropractic, we'd be in a different mindset of reality right now when it comes to spiritual, physical and emotional health. Chiropractic is one of those things that could help a lot of people, so as I got into it, a couple of documentaries later, that's when I first got the knack for doing interviews. But what if we put out an interview every week into perpetuity? That's what we've done. ChiroHustle turns eight on July 4th, and just I'll be recording my 740th and 741st episode today. It’s all about sharing the message of the profession.”

6:10 – It’s time to win together. “I still think chiropractic needs to become more united as friendship, as appreciation, as colleagues. My call to action is to respect your fellow practitioner with no judgment for how they take care of their patients. Professional tolerance is something that we definitely have to improve upon, but I have also seen that there's become a more unified front for the message and for the profession. We're moving into a new era, where there's people actually doing better work to quiet those grumblings of how we're different or how the profession is different or how somebody might not be satisfied. We're moving into a new era where people are going to start looking to promote the profession as a whole rather than as an individual basis. In my 16 years, that's what will teach people to start winning.”

7:49 – Chiropractic is art. “Well, back to the basics, thoughts, traumas, toxins - everybody has them. If the profession has bad thoughts that are full of toxicity and trauma, what do you think the outcome is going to be? There are different disciplines and if everybody looked at chiropractic as an art, we'd all respect the art of that practitioner more. I tell people all the time, if I go to Dr. Jay's clinic as a new patient and then go to five others in that city where he practices, everybody has a different art. They could follow the same system, but we have to respect the art. If we can all understand the chiropractic as science, philosophy and art, and every chiropractor has a little bit of different spin on how they do it, we can accomplish a lot.”

13:33 – BlueRhinoAI. “You can't be in the chiropractic space and not hear the disappointment within marketing companies. Putting my badge of approval on something, I wanted to make sure that was a sure bet. We have cracked the code for the standard of care being ethical, but I believe in standard of care in marketing too. You should be ethical about actually making people more abundant within their practice rather than just lining your pockets as a marketer. I've been working with Dr. Ryan Hummel, running Blue Rhino AI. He's 19-year practitioner and we wouldn't do anything for a chiropractor's office that we wouldn't do for his office. That's a badge of honor - telling people that we only want to do the best work that we can, and if we wouldn't do it for his clinic, we wouldn't do it for your clinic.”

15:05 - Supporting the profession and it’s practices. “We do joint health package style approach that is not condition specific like a lot of the agency models used to do. We've hired consultants and spent our money to get the best funnels in the world made. The funnels that we build are like $15,000. They're not a cookie cutter, Canva funnel that you're going to find. They’re award-winning funnels. Everything we run gets approved and we actually work with our clients to make their work unique. You'll never see the same cookie cutter approach to what we produce for our clients because, once again, the marketing world's out there full of people that really don't understand chiropractic. If they do, they've potentially learned it through my work, and I think that the standardization is just something that we love. We want to produce a really great product and help people grow their practices. Most people don't know where to go or who to trust. When we bridge into the marketplace with our clients, they're going to find a trusted resource. Something that’s unique about us - there's no long-term contract with working with us. We know our results speak for themselves. You get to work with us month to month and the day you decide that you're ready to break up with us, there are no hard feelings. We know that there's other people out there that you might want to try out too.”

19:22 – The results are in... quickly! “A lot depends on demographic and how quickly the client's willing to do the work that we require of them. The thing that makes us a little bit different is we coach them how to do it. They schedule a concierge day with me where I’m on Zoom, watching them do the production from a cell phone and guiding/coaching them through their production day. I’ll know what we need as a business from a production standpoint and they need some hand holding to show up and put their feet to the fire to make sure they're going to do what we do. Depending on how long that position takes, it could a month when somebody actually schedules that video shoot date and gets somebody as their actor to do the work. To answer your question on the quickness of the results, stuff starts popping on day one. It doesn't take time for things to develop. The only thing that takes time to develop is the onboarding. Pay us the setup fee, do the video and go to launch. I would say a typical client takes anywhere between three weeks to a month.”

29:29 – Adopt AI tomorrow. “A lot of people are on the sideline. If you don't jump in and get integrated, the doctors that adopt AI early are going to see how that could help advance their clinic model. Those that are on the sidelines are going to be the ones that wish they were early adopters. The markets are going to be set and there's already going to be people out there winning in the space. I encourage people to start poking around a little bit. Check out ChatGPT and use that as the gateway to get into the world. Use it as a personal reference point. Book airplane tickets through it. Ask it where to take your car to get fixed. Figure out what time the movie shows tonight. Ask it that type of non-business-related stuff and see how it's going to give you an accurate readout of where you can go. You don't have to do the old Google search. AI is taking the lead on search engine at the moment with ChatGPT. Who would have thought that Google would ever be knocked down?”

33:39 - Don’t be afraid to ask AI but stay in touch with your community. “If I had a crystal ball, I would look into it and ask AI. But you know, I come from an old school set. I don't want to ever encourage people to not have a touch of reality with their communities. I'm not saying that AI isn't great and can't help you, but I also think you have to go out there to shake hands, see families, and touch the community. There's nothing greater than going out there and finding people that need help who don't know where to go.”
